Services

GEMS exists to help you preserve and honor the stories that matter.

We design thoughtful, creative storytelling projects tailored to your goals, your community, and your resources.

GEMS’ work generally falls into two areas:

  • Collaborative storytelling projects rooted in community memory, cultural preservation, and public engagement. Projects may include:

    • Creative installations and listening experiences

    • Community interviews and story collection

    • Youth storytelling programs and workshops

    • Oral history and public history initiatives

    • Collaborative projects with schools, nonprofits, artists, and cultural organizations

  • Thoughtfully crafted oral histories and audio documentaries for individuals and families. Projects may include:

    • Recorded life story interviews

    • Family history audio documentaries

    • Legacy and end-of-life storytelling

    • Edited audio “chapters” and keepsakes

    • Private family archives

    • Custom story preservation projects

GEMS’ Process

Every project begins with a consultation. We’ll talk through your ideas, vision, and what you hope to create — whether that’s an oral history, a family archive, or a broader storytelling project. From there, you’ll receive a customized proposal with a clear creative direction and pricing.
